Spirit Dress is a small-batch label. Instead of guessing how much to make and hoping it sells, we let your pre-orders tell us. That's how we keep from mass-producing clothes that end up in a landfill.
Most of our shipments sell out before they reach the warehouse.

Every production order is sized from real pre-orders, not a forecast. Your order is part of how we decide what to make, and how many.
Nothing headed for a landfill
Fast fashion overproduces and dumps the rest. We'd rather run out. No warehouse of unsold dresses, no piles of last season waiting to be thrown away.
Once it's gone, it's gone
Each style is a limited run. You won't see yours on everyone at the tailgate, and when a run sells out, it usually doesn't come back.
The process

Pre-order opens

A new style launches for pre-order. This first window shows us how much interest there is.

We place the order
Sized by you
We size a limited production run from those early pre-orders. That number is set, and nothing gets added to it later.

Production begins
Pre-order stays open
You can still pre-order while it's being made, but only from that one run. When a size is spoken for, it's sold out.

The shipment arrives
Ships in 1–2 days
Every pre-order goes out within a day or two of the boxes landing. Anything left is in stock and ships in 1–2 days.

It sells out
Usually for good
When demand is high we sometimes do a second run. More often, once a style is gone, it's gone.
Most runs are sold out before they ever reach our warehouse.
What it means when you pre-order
Pre-ordering is the surest way to get your size. Once the run is made, there's no more coming, so the earlier you order, the better your chances.
Your size is held. Your pre-order reserves your piece from the production run.
You'll know when to expect it. Every pre-order shows an estimated ship window right below the Pre-order button.
You're first in line. Pre-orders ship within 1–2 days of the shipment arriving, before anything else goes out.
